Synopsis

Tehran was a garden for centuries. Later, it turned into garden-avenues. In the past few decades, it rapidly became a city of no-green, but construction! This is a capture of this transformation. It was made in a single day, a morning spent wandering and filming in the alleys of Elahiye (one of uptown Tehran’s oldest and most damaged areas), followed by a night of VHS editing, layered with the audio from an American home remodeling show.
